Goodyear, Ariz.– Allyn Stephens and Jenni Roller, University of Tulsa women's golfers, competed this past week at the 2025 Patriot All-America Classic at Wigram Golf Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
Roller finished in a tie for 21st at the event with a four-over par 214 over 54 holes. She opened with a six-over round on day one, then fired an even-par round on day two, and finished strong with her best round—a two-under par 68 in the final round. Over the 54-hole event, she carded 14 birdies.
In addition to her on-course performance, Roller carried the name of Private First Class Chad M. He died May 28, 2008, when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device near Gardez, Afghanistan.
Stephens finished tied for 57th at the event with a score of 12-over par 222. She began with a one-over-par 71, struggled to an eight-over-par on the second day, and closed with a two-over-par 73.
Stephens' bag will bear the name of Lance Corporal Thomas A. Reilly Jr. He was a native of London, Kentucky, and assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Division, in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. He was killed on December 21, 2008, during combat operations in Karmah, Anbar Province, Iraq, when a rocket-propelled grenade struck his Humvee. Deployed to Iraq in July 2008, he was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
Golden Hurricane will start the spring season on January 30 at the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico hosted by the University of Virginia.
