Tulsa Women's Golf Takes on PING ASU Invitational

PHOENIX, Ariz. –– The Golden Hurricane women's golf team heads west to participate in the PING ASU invitational starting Friday. The event will be held at Papago Golf Course.
The 54-hole event will consist of 18 holes over three days.
The Hurricane is entering its fourth tournament of the spring portion of its schedule. Tulsa returns to action after last competing at the Briar's Creek Invitational on March 9-11. The Golden Hurricane finished tied for fifth at the event.
Tulsa led the field in pars at the Briar's Creek Invitational, recording 122 over the two rounds. Tulsa shot 10-over par at the event and were led by Stephens and Masserey, who both were one-over for the event.
THE COURSE
The Papago Golf Club will play as a par-72, 6,586 yards for the three-day event. The three-day event will consist of 18 holes each day, with tee times set for Friday and Saturday and a 10 a.m. CT shotgun start on the final day.

THE FIELD
Tulsa is one of 13 teams competing at the PING ASU Invitational at Papago Golf Club. No. 12 ranked Northwestern, the back-to-back champions, will be in the field this year. Joining the Hurricane and Northwestern in the field are host Arizona State, Abilene Christian, California, Florida Atlantic, Grand Canyon, Kansas, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, Pepperdine and UCLA.
THE GOLDEN HURRICANE
Competing for Tulsa in the event are graduate Romaine Masserey, seniors Lovisa Gunnar and Sydney Seigel, junior Jenni Roller and sophomore Allyn Stephens. Hanna Robinett will be competing as an individual for TU.
TEE TIMES
Friday and Saturday will begin at 10 a.m. CT, with a new golfer beginning their round every nine minutes. The final round on Sunday will be a 10 a.m. CT shotgun start. Masserey will be the first Hurricane off the tee box at 11:30 a.m. CT with Roller (11:39 a.m. CT), Stephens (11:48 a.m. CT), Seigel (11:57 a.m. CT), and Gunnar at 12:06 p.m. CT. Robinett will tee off on hole ten at 11:44 a.m. CT.
