Tulsa’s 2V4+ Boat Finishes in Finals at Sarasota 2K

SARASOTA, Fla. — The Tulsa rowing team gained valuable experience at one of the biggest collegiate regattas in the country this weekend, earning key facetime with five other Big 12 programs at the Sarasota 2K Friday and Saturday in Sarasota, Fla. The Golden Hurricane's 2nd Varsity 4+ boat finished sixth in the grand finals on Saturday.
 
Coxed by junior Cali Campbell and piloted by sophomore Olivia Brett, sophomore Abbey Tillotson, freshman Olivia Johnson and sophomore Linzi Foutch, the 2V4+ boat was the only TU crew to advance to a grand final, finishing the race in 8:12.17.
 
Tulsa will hit the road for Omaha, Neb., to take on Creighton in a head-to-head regatta on Saturday, April 12.
