Tulsa Golf Schedule Changed for Briar’s Creek Invitational

CHARLESTON, S.C. –– The Golden Hurricane women's golf team is set to play in the Briar's Creek Invitational a day earlier than expected due to the threat of incoming weather. The 36-hole competition is hosted by the College of Charleston at the Golf Club at Briar's Creek in Johns Island, South Carolina.
The event will start on Sunday morning rather than the originally planned Monday. Teams will play the first round and some of round two. Monday will be an off day with the weather before teams return to action on Tuesday for the rest of rounds two and three.
THE COURSE
Set in Johns Island, S.C., the Golf Club of Briar's Creek plays as a par-72, 6,152 yards. Teams will play on Sunday and Tuesday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning. The second round will follow afterward.

THE FIELD
Tulsa is one of 17 teams competing at the Briar's Creek Invitational at the Golf Club of Briar's Creek. Joining the Hurricane are Campbell, the hosts – College of Charleston, East Carolina, Florida State, Furman, Iowa, Kent State, Maryland, Miami (Fla.), Minnesota, North Carolina State, Old Dominion, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers and SMU.
THE GOLDEN HURRICANE
Competing for Tulsa in the event are graduate Romaine Masserey, seniors Lovisa Gunnar and Sydney Seigel, junior Jenni Roller and sophomore Allyn Stephens.
TEE TIMES
Sunday will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Tulsa's golfers will start on holes eight through 10. Roller and Gunnar will begin with the first and second groups on eight, respectively. Seigel will take hole nine. Masserey will tee off with the first group on the 10th hole, with Stephens teeing off last with the second group.
