RALEIGH, N.C. — The Tulsa rowing team completed its regular season Saturday morning at the Lake Wheeler Invitational, completing the three-round, two-day regatta on Lake Stevens in Raleigh, N.C., in preparations for the Big 12 Championship on May 18.
Tulsa's four boats raced against some of the nation's best Friday through Saturday morning. The Golden Hurricane and the Kansas Jayhawks were the only Big 12 programs to participate in the 18-team field. TU beat the Jayhawks in three of four races.
