
Women’s Golf Heads to Dallas For Veritex Bank Collegiate

DALLAS, Texas –– The Tulsa Women's Golf program heads to Dallas for the Veritex Bank Collegiate, which is hosted by SMU. This will be the last tournament prior to The American Conference Tournament.
The 54-hole event will consist of 36-holes Monday and 18-holes on Tuesday.
Last weekend, the Golden Hurricane participated in the PING ASU Invitational and finished in fifth place. TU shot their best round of the tournament on the final day as they were four under, 284, at the event.
A trio of Tulsa players finished tied for 21st at the event as Lovisa Gunnar, Romaine Masserey and Sydney Seigel all shot one-over-par for the tournament.
THE COURSE
The Trinity Forest Golf Club will play as a par-72, 6,478 yards for the two-day event. The two-day event will consist of 36 holes on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday. Each day will be a shotgun start.

THE FIELD
Tulsa is one of 15 teams competing at the Veritex Bank Collegiate at the Trinity Forest Golf Club. Joining the Hurricane in the field are host SMU, Boston College, Central Florida, East Texas A&M, Houston, UIW, Iowa, Lamar, Oklahoma State, Tarleton State, Texas at Arlington, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas Tech, and Yale.
THE GOLDEN HURRICANE
Competing for Tulsa in the event are graduate Romaine Masserey, seniors Lovisa Gunnar and Sydney Seigel, junior Jenni Roller and sophomore Allyn Stephens. Hanna Robinett will be competing as an individual for TU.
TEE TIMES
Monday will begin with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start with round two beginning immediately after the first round.
Tulsa's golfers will start on the back nine on Monday morning. Gunnar will tee off with the first group on 15, while Seigel will start on hole 16. Roller will take the first group on 17 and Masserey tees off with the second group. Stephens will start from hole 18. Robinett, who is playing as an individual will be the second group off one.
