GUADALAJARA, Mexico – The Tulsa women's golf team battled both illness and the demanding Guadalajara Country Club course, finishing seventh at the Collegiate Invitational Guadalajara. TU compiled a team score of 26-over par 890.
"This team showed real grit this week," said head coach Mike Roters. "With five of our eight traveling players dealing with illness, they stayed tough, stayed together, and competed when it mattered most. They fought through adversity and did what was needed to keep our season moving forward. I'm extremely proud of this group. This performance showed we can compete with anyone in the country, and I'm excited for what's ahead this spring when we're healthy."
Florida State claimed the tournament title on Saturday, finishing the event at four-over par 868. To view the complete leaderboard, click here.
