TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa women's tennis dropped no sets in a 6-0 victory over Oral Roberts (2-10) in their first outdoor match of the season Friday afternoon.
Tulsa (5-9) opened strong in doubles, securing quick 6-2 and 6-1 wins in the first and third slots of the lineup. Those victories by Maria Santos and Carolina Alonso, along with Erin McKenzie and Isabella Basson, clinched the doubles point for the Golden Hurricane. The No. 2 match was also played out, resulting in a 6-3 win for Tayla Wilmot and Coral Valle. This marks only the second time this season Tulsa has claimed all three doubles matches.

In the clinching match, Lilitha Ndungane posted a decisive 6-2, 6-0 result at the bottom of the lineup. The win marks her eighth singles victory of the season, leading the Golden Hurricane. Five of those wins have come in the sixth slot. Basson and Valle played out their matches and won 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-1, respectively. The lone unfinished match came in the No. 5 position, with McKenzie and ORU's Natalie Perez ending at 6-1, 3-3.
