Track Continues Outdoor Season at Bryan Clay Invitational

AZUSA, Calif. – Tulsa track and field travels to Azusa, Calif. to compete in the Bryan Clay Invitational April 16-19.
The Golden Hurricane have 21 entries into the event, with 12 on the men's side and nine for the women.
On the women's side, Sara Morefield will look to continue her hot streak in outdoor distance, competing in the 3000 m steeplechase just a few weeks after her school record-breaking run in the event, also out in California at the Stanford Invitational.
Morefield's entry is joined by Grace MacDonald, Billie Rouse, Hannah Taylor, Sarah Hosey, Matilda Laidlaw, Robyn Kowalski, and Kathryn Koonts for competition in their respective events at Azusa Pacific's Cougar Athletic Stadium.
For the men's program, Tulsa's entries are dominated by mid-distance and distance events. Evan Sanni-Thomas entered the 400 m, while Andrew Lutkenhuas and Joseph Synder will compete in the 800 m.
The 1500 m will be full of blue and gold, with Luke Birsdeye, Brady Korsmo, Sean Kormso, Charlie Krasnoff, Lutkenhaus and Graham Stevener all set to run the event. Shay McEvoy, and Joseph Stoddard will compete in the 10000 m and Luke Birdseye is entered in the 3000 m steeplechase.
