STANFORD, Calif. and NORMAN, Okla. – Tulsa track and field closed out their final weekend of competition in the regular outdoor season split across two meets, with men's distance appearing at the Payton Jordan Invitational, hosted by Stanford, and the sprint team competing at the Sooner Invitational, hosted by Oklahoma.

At the Payton Jordan Invitational on Friday, Tulsa's distance group delivered one of the top highlights of the weekend in the men's 5,000 meters. In section two, Levi Rowan and Charlie Krasnoff ran nearly stride-for-stride to the line, finishing first and second in 13:38.91 and 13:38.96, respectively. Both marks etched their names into the program record book, ranking eighth and ninth in school history. Ben Brown added a strong showing in section three, placing ninth with a time of 13:47.82.

On Saturday, at the Sooner Invitational, the Golden Hurricane sprinters and relay squads produced several podium finishes and all-time performances. Evan Sanni-Thomas led the charge with a first-place finish in the men's 200 meters, clocking 21.04 to move into fifth in program history. On the women's side, Alexis Cavin continued her standout season, winning the 200 meters in 23.59, the second-fastest time in school history, before doubling back to place fourth in the 400 meters (55.37). Cahsia Page added a fourth-place finish in the 200 (24.40) and sixth in the 400 (56.48), while Annie-May Cannings secured third in the 400 meters with a time of 54.99.

Tyler Priest picked up a third-place finish in the men's 100 meters (10.86) and helped lead Tulsa's 4x100 relay to another podium result. The men's relay team of Priest, Harrison Stapleton, Jonathan Lee, and Colin Madison finished third in 41.65, matching the women's 4x100 squad of Sajara Hill, Cavin, Page, and Isabella Famiglietti, which also placed third in 46.53.

Additional sprint performances included Stapleton taking fourth in the men's 200 (21.72), Lee placing eighth (22.87), and Madison finishing fourth in the 400 meters (47.47). In the hurdles, Jaylin VonWald and Lianne Holtermann went back-to-back in third and fourth in the women's 400-meter hurdles, crossing in 1:02.64 and 1:03.57.

Tulsa will be back in action in about two weeks, when they take the track in Denton, Texas, for the American Conference Outdoor Championships, hosted by North Texas from May 14-16.
