Will Bartlett joined The University of Tulsa basketball staff in June 2021 as director of operations.
Before coming to Tulsa, Bartlett spent two seasons (2019-21) as the director of player development at St. John’s University under Head Coach Mike Anderson.
In his role at St. John’s, Bartlett served as the chief of staff for the head coach and provided day-to-day administrative support within the men's basketball program. He served as the program's liaison for athletic administrative areas as well as with community service. In addition, Bartlett will be involved in team travel and video operations and analysis.
The Red Storm posted records of 16-11 in 2018-19 and 17-15 in the 2020-21 campaign while Bartlett was on the staff.
Previously, Bartlett spent eight seasons (2011-19) on Anderson’s staff at the University of Arkansas. He joined the Razorbacks staff as coordinator of basketball operations, a position he held for two years (2011-13) and served as the team’s video coordinator for five years (2013-18). He was promoted to the role of Special Assistant to the Head Coach for his final season at Arkansas.
During Bartlett's time at Arkansas, the Razorbacks made five postseason appearances, including three trips to the NCAA Tournament and turned in four 20-win seasons. The Razorbacks' high-water mark with Bartlett on staff came when the 2014-15 team won 27 games and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
As a student at Missouri, Bartlett was a four-year student manager where he helped coordinate visiting team practices, supervised summer camps, set up a training program for new managers and assisted with player workouts. Upon graduation, Bartlett was retained by Mike Anderson as a graduate assistant for two seasons (2009-11).
A native of Macomb, Ill., Bartlett and his wife Ashton, have one daughter, Olivia.
