Jennifer Arnold was named as an assistant coach for the Tulsa rowing team in 2022 and is in her second season at The University of Tulsa.
 
Arnold came to Tulsa from the United States Rowing Olympic Development Program where she helped coach the U19 Camp this past summer.  She was also an assistant coach for Duquesne University during the 2021-22 season.  Arnold also served as the volunteer coach and boatman for Jacksonville University’s women’s rowing.
 
Prior to that, Arnold was the head men’s coach at Michigan State for two seasons (2018-20) and then served as a volunteer coach for the varsity program in the spring of 2020.  As the club coach, she worked alongside four assistant coaches, expanded the recruiting class by 30-percent, and designed a comprehensive training program, including rowing, strength and cross-training.  She also coordinated team travel, managed the team budget and equipment, developed strong alumni relations and helped with fundraising initiatives.
 
Arnold also served as the head coach of the Virginia Tech club team for two years (2017-18) and for the Kenai Crewsers Rowing Club summer program as the sweep and sculling coach for one year (2017).  She also served five years at the Lake Brantley High School Rowing Association as the varsity women’s coach (2013-17), master’s coach (2015-17) and middle school coach (2013).  Arnold was also the Summer Learn to Row sweep and sculling coach for the Jacksonville Rowing Club (2007-11).
 
Arnold earned her bachelor’s degree in restaurant and food service management from UCF in 2013.  She holds a US Rowing Level III certificate, a NCAA Division I coaches certification and is USOC SafeSport certified.
