AT TULSA – A two-year letterwinner . . . has participated in 15 regattas.
SOPHOMORE (2014-15) – Participated in six regattas . . . recorded a third-place mark in the 2nd Varsity 8+ at the Knecht Cup . . . topped SMU in the 2nd Varsity 8+ in the Lawless Cup . . . at the Stone Family Cup, tallied a win over Oklahoma in the 2nd Varsity 8+ . . . captured a silver medal at the American Athletic Conference Championship in the 2nd Varsity 8+ . . . competed at the Reading Amateur Regatta and Women’s Henley Regatta as a part of the teams’ postseason international trip.
FRESHMAN (2013-14) – Participated in nine regattas . . . raced the Novice 4+ ‘A’ and Novice 8+ ‘A’ boats to second-place finishes at the Head of the Oklahoma . . . turned in a top mark in the Novice 8+ at the Jayhawk Jamboree . . . recorded wins over Texas and Kansas State in the Varsity 4+ at the Longhorn Invitational . . . tallied a fifth-place finish in the Second Varsity 8+ Grand Final at the Knecht Cup . . . at the Lawless Cup, earned wins over Creighton and SMU in the Second Varsity 8+ . . . registered a sixth-place finish in the Second Varsity 8+ Grand Final at the C-USA Championship.
PRIOR TO TULSA – Rowed for the Chattanooga Rowing Club . . . served as team captain her senior season . . . in 2013, her Junior Quad finished second at the John Hunter Regatta and fourth at the Southeast Regional . . . also competed in the Quad at the 2013 Youth Nationals.
PERSONAL – An athletic training major . . . born on October 7, 1994 . . . daughter of Mark and Lois Simpson . . . was tabbed to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Tulsa Athletic Director’s Honor Roll as a freshman.
