TULSA POSTGAME NOTES AT TULANE

• Tulsa wore black uniforms at Tulane. It was the 11th time this season TU has worn black. TU is 9-2 in black uniforms this year.
• Junior guards Shaquille Harrison, Rashad Smith and James Woodard, and junior forward D'Andre Wright all started their 20th games of the season, and junior guard Marquel Curtis started his 15th game of the season.
• Harrison started his 87th career game, Woodard started his 83rd career game, Wright started his 49th career game, Smith started his 48th career game, and Curtis started his 16th career game.
• Harrison has started all 87 games in his career, Woodard has started 61 straight games, Wright has started 40 straight games, and Smith has started 25 straight games.
• Tulsa increased its winning streak to 10 in a row.
• The Hurricane improved its record to 8-0 in American Athletic Conference play, and its road record to 6-2.
• TU has won six consecutive road games, including five in conference play. It is the third time a TU basketball team has won six consecutive road games.
• Tulsa's 8-0 conference record is its best start in league play since the 1984-85 team started league play 8-0.
• Tulsa improved its record to 13-0 when leading at halftime, 13-0 when it holds its opponent to fewer than 65 points, and 13-0 when it shoots better from the field than its opponent.
• Tulsa has won 19 games in a row against conference opponents, dating back to the 2013-14 season.
• With 16 points, Harrison extended his streak of games scoring in double digits to 14.
• Brandon Swannegan scored a season-high eight points, and recorded multiple blocks for the eighth time this year.
• Swannegan recorded at least one block for the 16th game this season. He has a team-high 29 blocks this year, and 98 in his career, ranking eighth all-time at TU.
• With four points in the game, Woodard now has 1,212 points in his career, ranking 21st on the Tulsa career scoring chart, one point behind 20th place Dick Nunneley (1,213 - 1951-54). He surpassed the scoring total Michael Ruffin, who was in attendance at the game. Ruffin scored 1,209 points from 1995-99.
• Tulsa held Tulane to a .356 field goal percentage. It was the 19th time in 20 games, and the 15th straight time TU has held its opponent under 50 percent from the field.
• Tulsa's 15-5 start is its best 20-game record since the 2009-10 team started 16-4.
