TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Volleyball team will wrap up American Athletic Conference home play at the Reynolds Center this week, beginning with a contest against defending conference champion and current leader SMU before taking on Memphis Friday at 7 p.m. on Senior Night. Six Hurricane seniors will be honored before the match on Friday evening.
The Hurricane (18-10, 7-9 The American) fell in four sets to both SMU and Memphis in their matchups earlier this season. Tulsa trails the all-time series with SMU 23-18 after dropping four straight, having picked up their last victory over the Mustangs on Oct. 15, 2014. TU holds a 13-10 all-time advantage against Memphis, as both teams have split each season series dating back to 2014.
Tulsa will wrap up regular season play next week as they travel northeast to take on Connecticut on Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. before playing their final conference match against Temple on Nov. 25 at noon.
