Tulsa Women’s Basketball Takes Part in American Athletic Conference Media Day Today in Philadelphia

Tulsa Head Coach Matilda Mossman, senior forward Crystal Polk and junior guard Shug Dickson attended the annual American Athletic Conference Basketball Media Day on October 15 in Philadelphia, Pa.
Coach Mossman, Polk and Dickson conducted interviews and video shoots with ESPN and the American Digital Network for use throughout the 2018-19 regular season, as well as the 2019 American Athletic Conference Championship.
The American also announced the 2018-19 Preseason Coaches' Poll. UConn, which has won all five conference titles was picked first, followed by USF in second place and Houston in third. The Golden Hurricane was picked 12th in the preseason poll after finishing last season tied for 11th-place.
Tulsa will begin the 2018-19 season at home against Stetson on Tuesday, November 6 in a noon contest at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
The 2019 American Women's Basketball Championship will be held March 8-11 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.
