Tulsa Freshman Lorena Tseng Named Golfer of the Month in the American Athletic Conference

PROVIDENCE, R.I. –– The University of Tulsa freshman golfer Lorena Tseng (Tainan, Taiwan) was named as the American Athletic Conference's Women's Golf Player of the Month for September.
Tseng made a strong first impression in her debut events on the collegiate golf course with two top-4 performances.
She led Tulsa to a team victory in her first tournament at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic with a top-5 finish and followed it up with a second-place performance at the Lady Paladin Invitational.
At the Hobble Creek Golf Course, Tseng carded a 3-over 216 (72-76-68) total to take fourth overall in a field of 73 golfers. She improved in her second outing at the Furman University Golf Course by placing second in a field of 90 golfers with a score of 7-under 209 (68-73-68).
Tseng and the Golden Hurricane women are in action at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Denver, Colorado, this weekend, Oct. 5-7.
