Tulsa Volleyball Set to Host Temple, UConn This Weekend

TULSA, 
Okla. — The University of Tulsa volleyball squad (14-7, 6-3) returns to the Reynolds Center this weekend, hosting Temple on Friday, Oct. 26 and UConn on Sunday, Oct. 28.
 
The first match features TU and Temple (5-16, 2-7) in an American Athletic Conference matchup on Friday at 7 p.m. CT in the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The match will be dubbed as the Alzheimers Awareness Match, with a recognition video to be played in the middle of the match.
 
On Sunday, the Golden Hurricane squares off with UConn (11-11, 3-6) at noon in Tulsa. The match will be recognized as "Volleyween", as fans are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes. There will be Halloween-themed music, a pumpkin painting station and free candy given out to those in costume.
 
Head coach Ryan Wills' bunch is nearly flawless at home this season, recording an impressive 8-1 mark in the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The record includes a perfect 3-0 showing at the Tulsa Volleyball Invitational, four AAC victories and a non-conference win over North Texas.
 
As a whole, Tulsa is ranked third in the AAC heading into the latter half of conference play.
 
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.
