Tulsa Golfers Finish the Fall Season at the Battle at the Beach

SAN JOSE DEL CABO, Mexico–Tulsa placed 17that the Battle at the Beach with a 925 total score. The Hurricane shot a final round 296 at the par-71 Golf Course Club Campestre San Jose on Sunday.
 
Freshman Lorena Tseng finished in 42ndplace to pace the Hurricane with a score of 224 following her best round of the tournament with a one-under par 70. Senior Johanna Samuelsson and freshman Shaelee Scarberry tied for 71stplace with scores of 232. Sophomore Taylor Dobson finished in 83rdplace at 237, while senior Olivia Jackson placed 89thwith a score of 244.
 
Auburn's Kaleigh Teifer's and Clemson's Ana Paul Valdes tied for first place with 5-under par scores of 208, while the Auburn Tigers claimed the team title with a 17-stroke victory.
 
The fall season has concluded for the Golden Hurricane. The spring season will get underway at the Texas State Invitational, February 11-12.
