Tulsa Men’s Tennis to Compete at Silverado Invitational This Weekend

NAPA, Calif. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis squad kicks off its fall schedule today at the Silverado Invitational at the Silverado Resort and Spa in California, starting today and running through Sunday.
Competition for TU begins today at 9 a.m. with doubles play against Pepperdine, followed by singles play against Hawaii.
Four Tulsa athletes made the trip for the Golden Hurricane. Jarod Hing and Boriss Kamdem highlight the returners, along with newcomers Daniel Siddall and Tom Thelwall-Jones.
Siddall and Thelwall-Jones racked up numerous international accolades before joining head coach Vince Westbrook's standout squad. Siddall represented Iceland at the Junior Olympics in 2015, along with winning the U18 County Cup for Surrey, England in 2016 and 2017.
Thelwall-Jones has represented Wales five times in U12s, U14s and U18s. He has also been ranked as high as No. 11 nationally in the U16s in Great Britain and competed at the UK National Junior Championships since he was 9 years old.
