Tulsa Takes Doubles Play on Day Two of Silverado Invitational

NAPA, Calif. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis team defeated USF in both doubles matches as it resumed action on the second day of the Silverado Invitational on Saturday.
 
The one doubles team of Jarod Hing and newcomer Daniel Siddall took down USF's Paul Giraud and Nitzan Ricklis, 8-4.
 
Boriss Kamdem and Tom Thelwall-Jones proceeded to handily defeat Phuc Huynh and Romeo Jivraj of USF, 8-2.
 
In singles action, Jarod Hing narrowly fell to Cal's Ben Draper, 7-6, 4-6, 6-3. Boriss Kamdem then dropped his match against Bjorn Hoffmann of Cal, 6-3, 6-1.
 
Newcomers Daniel Siddall and Tom Thelwall-Jones also dropped their singles matches on Saturday. Siddall fell to the Golden Bears' Yuta Kikuchi, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6, while Thelwall-Jones was bested by Jackson Suh, 6-2, 6-1.
 
Play resumes today for the Golden Hurricane heading into the final day of the Silverado Invitational.
