Tulsa Women Golfers in 7th Place at the Magnolia Invitational

STARKVILLE, Miss. –– The Tulsa women's golf team sits in 7th place following the opening round at the Magnolia Invitational. The Hurricane turned in a score of 302 at the par-72 Old Waverly Golf Club on Sunday.
Freshman Lilly Thomas turned in Tulsa's low round of the day with an even-par 72 for 6th place, while sophomore Lorena Tseng carded a score of 74 for 15th place. Junior Taylor Dobson is tied for 21st place with a 3-over par round of 75.
Tulsa sophomore Jasmine Zhang carded a score of 81 and freshman Alex Christeson shot a round of 83rd.
LSU leads the field with a score of 289.
Due to impending inclement weather on Tuesday, the teams will play 36 holes on Monday for the second and third rounds.
