Tulsa Women Golfers Finish 7th at Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown

Boulder City, NV –– Tulsa's Lorena Tseng placed third individually, while leading the Golden Hurricane golfers to an overall 7th place performance at the 18-team Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown on Tuesday.
Tseng carded a final round 1-under par 71 to finish the 54-hole tournament with a 2-over par 218 score. As a team, Tulsa tallied a score of 291 today at the par-72 Boulder Creek Golf Club for a final total of 902.
Freshman Lilly Thomas placed 33rd with a score of 227 today after scoring her best round of the day with a total of 69. Junior Haley Greb finished in 41st place with a score of 229 after today's round of 76, while fellow junior Taylor Dobson finished in 53rd place with a score I 231.
Sophomore Sammy Liu had a score of 233 for 64th place. Freshman Alex Christeson, who played the tournament as an individual, scored a round of 74 for a 232 total and 58th place.
Host UNLV won the tournament with a score of 879.
Tulsa has finished the 5-tournament fall season and will be back in action at the SMU Invite on February 3.
The final round will be played on Tuesday.
