Saint Francis Health System ITA Women’s All-American Championships Qualifying Draws Announced

TULSA, Okla. – The 2019 Saint Francis Health System ITA Women's All-American Championships singles and doubles qualifying draws, were announced on Sunday evening. All women's tennis qualifying draws will be held at the Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park.
Junior Shura Poppe and sophomore Marina Davtyan will both be competing in singles competition on Monday, Oct. 7. Sophomore Megan Hopton and freshman Lian Benedejcic will also take to the court for the Golden Hurricane, competing in doubles play.
Davtyan and Poppe both get underway at 8:30 a.m. Davtyan is set to play William & Mary senior Natalia Perry in her opening round match. Poppe is set to square off against No. 59 Jaeda Daniel, a junior from North Carolina State.
The winner of Davtyan-Perry will await No. 55 Tatum Rice (Arkansas) vs. Paris Corley (LSU) in the second round. In the matchup between Poppe-Daniel, the winner will play either No. 98 Rebeka Stolmar (UCF) or Ena Babic (Purdue).
At 12:30 p.m., Hopton and Benedejcic are scheduled to play Wake Forest sophomore's Anna Brylin and Saby Nihalani.
The winning tandem will await a second round match against Babic and Csilla Fodor (Purdue) or No. 56 Malkia Ngounoue and Maria Toran Ribes (Kansas).
