
Tulsa Volleyball to Host Wichita State, Play Temple on the Road this Week

TULSA, Okla. ― The Tulsa volleyball team, coming off a four-set win over East Carolina Sunday, will host Wichita State tomorrow night before heading to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to square off against Temple.

Tulsa hosts Wichita State at 6 pm on Wednesday, October 20 at 6 pm before heading to Temple at 6 pm on Friday, October 22. Both matches will be broadcast on ESPN+. Last weekend, the Golden Hurricane lost to Cincinnati in four sets before bouncing back with a four-set win over East Carolina. Tulsa is 10-7 on the season, and 5-3 in American Athletic Conference play.

Wichita State is 11-6 on the season, 5-3 in AAC play. The Shockers are coming off back-to-back five set wins over East Carolina and Cincinnati.

Temple is 5-14 on the season, 1-7 in conference play. The Owls collected their first AAC win over South Florida in five sets last weekend.

Maggie Hembree tied her season high with 12 kills last time out against ECU, one off her career high, on an impressive .667 hitting percentage. Rachel Brown, who has seen her playing time increase lately, tallied six kills and a career-high five block assists in Sunday's win over the Pirates.
