Tulsa Men’s Tennis Jumps 10 Spots in the ITA National Poll

TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa men's tennis team made the highest jump in the Oracle/ITA National Rankings, it was announced today. The Golden Hurricane jumped 10 spots from its first nationally ranking of No. 50 last week to 40th in this week's poll.
 
Tulsa improved to 7-5 on the season with a 4-3 win over the 22nd-ranked Memphis Tigers last Sunday. The Hurricane fought No. 21-ranked Arizona State earlier in the week but fell 4-3 against the Sun Devils.
 
The Hurricane also defeated 23rd-ranked Texas Tech, 5-2, earlier this season.
 
Tulsa will play three home matches at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center over the next five days, including UTSA on Friday (5 p.m.), No. 41-ranked Wichita State Sunday (1 p.m.) and No. 42 LSU on Monday (1 p.m.).
