Tulsa Men’s Tennis Jumps 10 Spots in the ITA National Poll

TULSA, Okla. –– The Tulsa men's tennis team made the highest jump in the Oracle/ITA National Rankings, it was announced today. The Golden Hurricane jumped 10 spots from its first nationally ranking of No. 50 last week to 40^th in this week's poll.

Tulsa improved to 7-5 on the season with a 4-3 win over the 22^nd-ranked Memphis Tigers last Sunday. The Hurricane fought No. 21-ranked Arizona State earlier in the week but fell 4-3 against the Sun Devils.

The Hurricane also defeated 23^rd-ranked Texas Tech, 5-2, earlier this season.

Tulsa will play three home matches at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center over the next five days, including UTSA on Friday (5 p.m.), No. 41-ranked Wichita State Sunday (1 p.m.) and No. 42 LSU on Monday (1 p.m.).
