A week later, Tulsa won its second title with a 3-stroke win at the Rebel Beach Intercollegiate at the par-72 Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tulsa entered the final round in third place and shot a score of 299 for final 18 holes to overtake second-round leader Fresno State by three strokes.
Tulsa won the 54-hole American Athletic Conference Championship for its third tournament of the year, carding rounds of 293-301-294 for a 3-stroke win over two-time defending champion Houston.
