TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa named Shannon Niemeier to the Golden Hurricane volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach, Head Coach Ryan Wills announced today.
Niemeier, a native of Carlsbad, New Mexico, joins the Hurricane following a three-year coaching stint at Arkansas State, where she oversaw all aspects of recruiting and led all operation efforts including travel. On top of that, she also administered all aspects of opponent scouting, including player scouting and film sessions.
"Shannon is a hardworking, young coach who will bring some strengths to balance out our staff," Wills said. "She had a good experience at Arkansas State, and we are excited to add her to our team."
