Tulsa Women’s Tennis to Host AAC Foe Tulane Friday

TULSA, Okla. ― The Tulsa women's tennis team will host Tulane tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 p.m. in its conference opener at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Tulsa, who had its last match against Purdue postponed due to weather, hasn't played since the ITA Kickoff on January 29th. The Hurricane are 5-1 to start the season.
Laia Conde Monfort continued to be ranked in the ITA DI Women's Top 125 National Singles Ranking, checking in at No. 94 yesterday. The junior is 3-0 in singles play this season, all from the No. 1 position.
The Green Wave is 3-1 on the season, posting wins over Alcorn State, Northwestern State, and Southern before dropping to Alabama 3-4. Tomorrow's match will also be the first action in two weeks for Tulane after having its match against Mississippi State canceled last weekend.
Tulsa is currently on a six-game winning streak against Tulane, including a 4-0 victory the last time the teams matched up in 2018.
