TULSA, Okla. –– The University of Tulsa basketball program celebrates Legends Day this Saturday as the Golden Hurricane hosts the Cincinnati Bearcats at the Donald W. Reynolds Center at 7 p.m.

Some of the Legends expected to be in attendance include members of the 1980-81 NIT Champions David Brown and Ed Lindblad; two-time Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year from the late 1980s Michael Scott; MVC Player of the Year Gary Collier, Lou Dawkins, Cordell Love, J.R. Rollo and Pooh Williamson from the school's first NCAA Sweet 16 team in 1993-94; and 2000 NCAA Final Eight team members Eric Coley, Tony Heard, Brandon Kurtz and David Shelton among a number of other former TU basketball student-athletes.
Saturday's opponent, Cincinnati, has won more AAC games (113) than any other league member since the conference formed prior to the 2013-14 campaign. The Hurricane come into the game looking to avenge an earlier road loss to the Bearcats.
