No. 19 Tulsa to Host Memphis Sunday

TULSA, Okla. ― The newly ranked No. 19 Tulsa women's tennis team returns to the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Sunday, February 27th to host AAC foe Memphis. The match will start at 11:00 a.m.
Tulsa made its debut in the ITA computerized rankings earlier this week, checking in at No. 19. Laia Conde Monfort also continued to be in the rankings, coming in as the No. 100 singles player in the country. Monfort is 5-0 in singles play this spring, and 7-1 in doubles.
Memphis will be the third AAC opponent Tulsa has faced this season. The Hurricane beat Tulane 6-1 on February 11th and Wichita State 4-0 on February 16th on the road. Tulsa is 5-0 at home this season.
Memphis is 7-4 this season, notching wins over Kansas State and South Dakota. The Tigers started off the season 7-1 but have dropped three-straight matches.
The Hurricane will look to continue its recent success. TU is 32-12 in singles play this spring, and 19-6 in doubles play.
