No. 40 Tulsa to Host AAC Foe SMU Saturday

TULSA, Okla. ― The 40th ranked Tulsa women's tennis team will look to build off back-to-back wins last weekend when they host SMU on Saturday at noon inside the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Tulsa is coming off two wins last week, sweeping North Dakota 7-0 before taking down Purdue in a makeup match 6-1. The Hurricane are 9-3 on the season, and 7-1 at home.
SMU, who is ranked No. 54 in the ITA Rankings, will be the fourth AAC opponent Tulsa has faced this season. The Mustangs are 7-6 this season, but 2-0 against conference opponents. SMU is coming off a five-match home stretch that included wins over UT Arlington and Houston.
Tulsa has boasted impressive numbers so far this spring, including a 44-17 singles record and 26-6 doubles record. Lily Hutchings/Ana Naranjo Martinez have a four-match win streak at No. 3 doubles, while Maria Berlanga/Valeriya Rozenkova have a three-match win streak at No. 1 doubles.
Play against SMU is scheduled for noon, and all Tulsa home matches are free admission!
