TULSA, Okla. ― The 41st ranked Tulsa women's tennis team will look to build off last weekend's 4-0 win over South Florida on Saturday when the Hurricane head to Manhattan, Kansas to face No. 56 Kansas State.
Â
Last Sunday, Tulsa notched its third win against an American Athletic Conference opponent, sweeping South Florida 4-0. It was the fifth shutout of the season for TU.
Â
K-State is 6-8 on the season, and 5-4 at home. The Wildcats enter Saturday on a five-match losing streak, but have posted wins over Iowa, Nebraska, and Arkansas this spring.
Â
After a seven-year hiatus, Tulsa and K-State renewed competition between the two schools, with Tulsa winning 4-3 last March at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Dating back to 1979, the Hurricane are 10-5 against the Wildcats.
