Kody Pearson Falls in First Round of NCAA Tennis Singles Championship

TULSA, Okla. ― The University of Tulsa's Kody Pearson, who was one of 64 players selected to the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Singles Championship for a second straight year, fell in the first round on Monday morning. Pearson ends his junior season at 16-7.
Pearson was matched up against Harvard's Harris Walker. Walker, who is the No. 60th ranked player in the country, used a fast start to jump to a 6-3 first set win, and rolled his momentum into a 6-2 second set win.
Pearson came into the match today ranked No. 47. The Sydney, Australia product has been in the rankings since late February.
