The University of Tulsa Head Coach Angie Nelp named Erin Campbell as the director of operations for the women's basketball program.
"I am thrilled to announce the addition of Erin to our Tulsa family," Nelp said. "She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position. Her work ethic and professionalism reflect the values that we cultivate in our program. She will be a great asset to our staff and a great leader for our student athletes."
Campbell comes to Tulsa after spending the 2021-22 season as the director of operations and scouting at Arkansas State. She managed team travel and was involved in all aspects of opponent scouting.
Previously, Campbell held coaching positions at Conway [Ark.] High School (2020-21), Mills University Studies [Little Rock, Ark.] High School (2019-20) and Warren [Ark.] High School (2018-19).
During the 2017-18 season, Campbell was a student assistant and video coordinator at Arizona State for the women's basketball and softball programs. She worked with local community organizations to help build their fan base, created opponent player tendency reports, designed plays using Fast Draw software and created a monthly newsletter for high school coaches.
Campbell was a basketball letterwinner at Arkansas-Pine Bluff in 2013-14 and earned her bachelor's degree in physical education from UAPB in 2016. Following graduation, she went on to serve as the marketing and branding graduate assistant for the Golden Lions in 2017.
