TU Women to End Homestand Against #13 Oklahoma State

TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa women's tennis team (3-0) ends its four-match homestand with a dual Saturday against the country's 13th-ranked Oklahoma State Cowgirls (0-0) in the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The dual starts at 1 p.m. and will stream on Track.Tennis.

The visiting Cowgirls, who will play their first dual of the season, come to Tulsa leading the overall series 21-15. Tulsa's last victory over OSU came in Stillwater, where the Golden Hurricane prevailed 4-2 over the Cowgirls in the second round of the NCAA Championships.

OSU currently has three nationally ranked players, including Sofia Rojas at No. 72. Alana Wolfberg and Raquel Gonzalez follow at No. 108 and No. 121, respectively.

Tulsa enters the match on a hot streak after going 3-0 in the Tulsa Invite last week. Myroslava Zelenchuk, a sophomore transfer from Southeast Missouri State, is 11-2 in singles play and 8-2 in doubles play since joining the Hurricane.

Senior Lian Benedejcic enters the weekend on a four-match win streak in singles play. The senior from Ancarano, Slovenia, now has over 50 career singles wins for the Hurricane.
