No. 75 Tulsa Adds Home Match, Ends Regular Season Against Memphis in Orlando

TULSA, Okla. —
The 75th-ranked University of Tulsa women's tennis team (12-9) will host No. 45 Charlotte (19-5) for one last home match on Friday, April 14, before heading to the USTA National Campus in Orlando to take on Memphis (7-11) in the regular season finale on Monday, April 17.
 
Friday's match with the 49ers, streaming on Track.Tennis, will kick off at 11 a.m., while Monday's conference showdown with Memphis is slated for an 8 a.m. start.
 
The 19-5 49ers are coming off 4-1 and 4-0 wins over Furman (9-11) and James Madison (11-6), improving their win streak to five. Of Charlotte's five losses this season, four have come on the road.
 
Lucia Quiterio leads the way in singles play with a 16-3 record in dual matches, including a 12-2 record at the No. 2 position. Behind her is Emma Wilkins at 12-6 overall and 10-6 at the fifth position. Quiterio and teammate Margaux Maquet form Charlotte's premier doubles team with a 22-11 overall record, including a 15-5 record at Doubles No. 1.
 
Friday marks the first-ever meeting between Tulsa and Charlotte. The 49ers are 1-3 against ranked opponents on the road.
 
Last week, the 7-11 Tigers earned a 4-0 sweep over Austin Peay (15-6), making it three wins in a row heading into the weekend. Memphis is 7-10 on the road, including 2-2 in neutral settings.
 
Leading the charge is Emily Meyer, who is 8-7 on the year across the No. 3 and 4 positions. Meyer and teammate Aran Teixido Garcia form the Tigers' top doubles team, holding a 10-6 record at the No. 1 spot.
 
The Golden Hurricane has won 13 of the last 15 meetings, including seven of the last nine at home.
