Tulsa Soccer Hosts Double Header on Sunday

The Tulsa women's and men's soccer teams will host a double header on Sunday, August 27 at the Hurricane Soccer Stadium. The women will kick off at 5:00 pm against crosstown rival Oral Roberts, while the men will host Texas-Rio Grande Valley at approximately 7:30 pm.

Home match tickets are $5 general admission and can be purchased at the north ticket gate, online at TulsaHurricane.com/tickets or by calling the TU Athletic Ticket Office at 918.631.4688. Champions Fund Members who donate $300+ get in free. One ticket gets you admission to both games this Sunday.

Fans unable to attend the women's home match in person can watch it live on ESPN+, while the men's match will be broadcast live on TulsaHurricane.com for free. TU fans can subscribe to ESPN+ to watch select Golden Hurricane basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball games. ESPN+ is offered at $6.99/month or $69.99/year. To subscribe, go to plus.espn.com. The men's team, which is ranked 16^th nationally, is looking for their first win of the season after dropping a 1-0 decision at Louisville earlier this week. TU has not lost a regular season home game in three years, tallying an 18-0-4 mark in that time dating back to October 19, 2019. This will be TU's first meeting with UTRGV, which dropped a 2-1 decision at No. 19 SMU on Thursday.

The women's team is also looking for their first win of the season after starting out 0-3. ORU is 0-1-2 on the year, but TU has a 21-4-6 lead in the all-time series and has not lost to the Golden Eagles since 2007.
