TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa women's tennis team will kick-off the spring season this weekend with three matches on Saturday-Sunday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The weekend matches are the start to a 21-match spring schedule for the Hurricane, which features 13 home matches.

Omaha, Louisiana Tech and Wyoming visit the Case Tennis Center this weekend. The same three teams joined the Hurricane a year ago for the early season matchups as the Hurricane posted a 3-0 record.

Play gets underway at 9 a.m. both days with Tulsa and Omaha squaring off on Saturday, followed by the singles portion of the Tulsa-LA Tech match. Sunday's slate features the doubles portion of the LA Tech match with the Wyoming match to follow.

Among the nine-member roster, Tulsa returns five letterwinners and has four newcomers for the 2023-24 season. The Hurricane posted an overall 14-11 record a year ago.

In the fall season, returners Oleksandra Nahurska and Maria Berlanga and newcomer Saniya Singh led the Hurricane. Nahurska posted a 9-3 record, followed by Singh at 8-3 and Berlanga at 7-3.

All matches will be streamed on Track.Tennis.
