In the second set, the Buffaloes took an early lead, starting with a kill by Lily Dwinell from Rian Finley. The Golden Hurricane responded with a brief surge, leveling the score following an attack error by Cayla Payne. The Buffaloes then gained momentum with a 5-0 run, extending their lead with a service ace from Sarah Morton and a series of errors by the Golden Hurricane. Finley was instrumental for the Buffaloes, assisting multiple kills and contributing to extending their lead. Despite a late push from the Golden Hurricane, which included kills from Olivia Vance and Bayless, the Buffaloes closed the set with a victory, capped by another kill from Burilović, assisted by Finley.
