Women’s Tennis Hosts Kansas City, Tarleton State This Weekend

Tulsa, Okla. – Tulsa women's tennis concludes their four-match home stretch this weekend, welcoming Kansas City and Tarleton State to Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
The Golden Hurricane will face UMKC on Mar. 6 at 4 p.m. and Tarleton State on Mar. 8 at 9:30 a.m. The two away teams will also meet for a neutral site match at Case Tennis Center on Mar. 7.

- Kansas City is 2-6 in 2026. Their two wins have come against Missouri State, who Tulsa also bested, and Bradley.
- Tulsa and UMKC have met three times since 2021, with the Golden Hurricane coming out victorious in each of those matches.
- In the last match in the series, TU claimed a 4-0 win over the Roos during the 2025 season.
Scouting Tarleton State
- Tarleton State is sitting at 7-4 on the season and are coming off a close 4-3 loss to UTSA.
- The Texans have only won one match on the road this season, claiming a 4-0 victory at Northwestern State.
- Last season, Tulsa and ASU met at the spring Hurricane Invite, where Tulsa won their match 5-2.
- Tulsa and Tarleton State have produced identical results against their shared 2026 opponents, with both teams falling 4–3 to Wyoming, defeating ORU, and losing to OU.
