Leah Foster is in her fourth year at The University of Tulsa as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.
 
Foster served as the recruiting coordinator and assistant coach for Loyola during the 2014-15 season.  She was responsible for nation-wide recruiting, all defensive organization and planning, individual player development, scouting of opponents, and was the compliance liaison.  Foster helped coach the Ramblers’ Taylor Manuel who was named Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Year and picked up first-team all-conference accolades this past season.
 
Prior to Loyola, Foster was an assistant coach at Houston for three seasons (2011-14), where she recruited the 22nd-best class in 2012 according to Dan Olson’s Collegiate Girls Basketball Report and the 39th-best class by ESPN HoopGurlz.
 
Before her stint at Houston, Foster spent three seasons (2008-11) as an assistant coach at Dartmouth College.  She helped the Big Green capture the 2009 Ivy League Championship, while posting an 18-11 record and earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
 
Foster began her coaching career as a graduate assistant with the Texas State women’s basketball program for two years (2006-08).
 
Foster was a four-year letterwinner at St. Edward’s University (Austin, Texas), an NCAA Division II program.  She led the Hilltoppers to the 2006 Heartland Conference Championship and was tabbed to the all-conference second team in 2005.
 
Foster earned her bachelor’s degree in English literature from St. Edward’s University in 2006 and her master’s degree in physical education-sports management from Texas State in 2008.
