EDINBURG, Texas, (AP)- Darold Crow scored 18 points, all coming in the second half, to lead Tulsa to a 70-66 overtime win over Texas-Pan American on Saturday night.

Anthony Price pitched in 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Chris Wallace shot 3-of-4 from 3-point range while also scoring 15 for Tulsa, which improved to 5-8 on the season.

Crow, who did not practice until Saturday's shoot-around session, turned in his second-highest scoring game of the season. In an earlier game this week against North Texas, Crow scored a career-best 24 points.

The Hurricane trailed by six points at halftime, 32-26. After the home team built a nine-point second-half lead, 37-28, with 16:53 remaining in the contest, Tulsa cut it to one point, 39-38, in less than four minutes.

Tulsa took its first lead of the second half, 45-44, with 8:24 left on a jumper by Crow. Tulsa built its lead to eight points at the 4:46 mark. The Hurricane was then out-scored in the next two minutes as the Broncs tied the score at 54 with 2:27 to play. Three free throws by Crow was all the Hurricane could manage in the final two minutes of the contest as his final freebie with 0:37 remaining tied the score at 57.

Texas-Pan American had two chances to win the gameas a Dexter Shankle three-pointer missed, but a six-foot put-back by Zach Trader went in and out at the buzzer

In overtime, Price scored the first four points, but a Bronc's three-point cut the Hurricane lead to 61-60 with 2:51 left in the extra period. The teams were tied at 62-62 when Tulsa's Wallace hit a three-point basket to give the Hurricane a three-point lead with 0:48 left. Tulsa made 5-of-6 free throws down the stretch to get the victory.

Texas-Pan American (2-13), led by Zach Trader's 15 points, shot only 36 percent for the game, making 19 of 52 field goal attempts.

Derrick East added 14 points and 8 rebounds for Texas-Pan American.

The win for Tulsa snapped a three-game losing streak and also ended an eight-game losing skein in overtime games dating back to Dec. 1, 2001. The victory is also Tulsa's second road win of the year, giving the Hurricane one more win on the road than all of last season.

Tulsa opens Conference USA action on Wednesday at UAB. The Blazers have a 10-3 overall record and are 7-1 at home this season.
