TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa men's basketball team plays host to No. 18 SMU to open American Athletic Conference play at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

The Golden Hurricane (8-4, 0-0 American) has won three of its last four games, including a 90-55 victory over Northern Arizona on Dec. 22. The Mustangs (11-0, 0-0 American) won the Las Vegas Classic last week, including a 70-66 win over Colorado on Dec. 23.

The game will be broadcast on Big Country 99.5 FM and the Golden Hurricane Radio Network, and televised on ESPN2.
The Series
This will be the 47th meeting between Tulsa and SMU. Tulsa leads the series, 30-16. The Mustangs have won three in row in the series, dating back to 2013, including both meetings last season. SMU won, 68-57 in Tulsa, and 67-62 in Dallas. The teams split six meetings between 2011-13, with each team winning its three road matchups in that span.
