
Tulsa in Second Place at The Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown; Jackson Leads Individual Field

LAS VEGAS, Nev.– Tulsa senior Olivia Jackson carded a 6-under par score of 66 on Sunday to lead the Golden Hurricane women's golf team to second-place in opening round action at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown.
The Hurricane scored an 18-hole total of 4-under par 284, sitting 4 strokes behind first-place Oregon State's 8-under 280 score.
Tulsa freshman Lorena Tseng is in 4thplace with a round of 3-under par 69 at the par-72 Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The Hurricane also counted a 74 from sophomore Taylor Dobson and 75 from Johanna Samuelsson. Dobson is in 41stplace, while Samuelsson sits in 50thplace. ShaeLee Scarberry is in 77thplace with a score of 78.
Second round play takes place on Monday and the final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday.
