Tulsa Golfers Close out Fall Season at Battle at the Beach this Weekend

San Jose del Cabo, Mexico – The Tulsa women's golf team will play its final of five fall tournaments this weekend at the Battle of the Beach in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico beginning Friday.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament is played Friday-Sunday, Nov. 2-4, at the Golf Course Club Campestre San Jose.
Tulsa is coming off a second-place finish at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown two weeks ago and has placed among the top-5 in three of its previous four fall events.
The Hurricane goes into the Battle at the Beach with the 5-player team of seniors Olivia Jackson and Johanna Samuelsson, sophomore Taylor Dobson and the freshman duo of ShaeLee Scarberry and Lorena Tseng.
Tseng, the individual medalist in Tulsa's last tournament at Las Vegas, will start out at the No. 1 position followed by Jackson, Dobson, Scarberry and Samuelsson.
The 16-team field also includes #22 Auburn, host #21 Baylor, #23 Clemson, Denver, Houston, Iowa, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, #2 Texas, TCU, Tulane, Tulsa, UAB, New Mexico, Vanderbilt and #9 Virginia
