Tulsa Volleyball to Host Midweek Matchup, Havoc in the Heartland

TULSA, Okla. — The University of Tulsa volleyball squad takes on the second half of its four-match homestand this week, hosting North Texas on Wednesday, Sept. 26 and Wichita State on Saturday, Sept. 29.
The first match features TU (9-4, 2-0) and North Texas (5-12, 1-1) in Tulsa's final non-conference match on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. CT in the Reynolds Center. Tulsa will host Student Club Volleyball Night, in which all student clubs are offered the ability to table at the event. Along with that, students will have the opportunity to receive free gift cards randomly throughout the match.
On Saturday, the Golden Hurricane squares off with Wichita State (7-6, 2-0) at 6 p.m. CT in Tulsa. Wichita State leads the overall series, dubbed as the Havoc in the Heartland, 30-12.
Head coach Ryan Wills' bunch is perfect at home this season, recording an impressive 5-0 mark in the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The record includes a perfect 3-0 showing at the Tulsa Volleyball Invitational and a 2-0 record in American Athletic Conference play so far.
As a whole, Tulsa is ranked first in the AAC after one weekend of conference play, which included sweeping both Memphis and Tulane last weekend.
Fans unable to attend the match in person can watch it live on TulsaHurricane.com/watch. There is a 24HR Pass, a Monthly Pass and Yearly Pass that allow you to watch all TU home men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball games depending on the package purchased.
