THE GAME
• This is the 29th meeting between Tulsa and Tulane and the 12th as American Athletic Conference members.
• Tulane is 10-7 on the season  ...  the Green Wave comes into Saturday's match-up off of a 74-55 loss to UCF ... Tulane has key wins over Cincinnati, Temple and Utah.
• This will be the first of two games between Tulsa and Tulane as the Golden Hurricane will welcome the Green Wave to the Reynolds Center on Feb. 25.
• Tulane enters the game 2-3 in the American Athletic Conference, while Tulsa is 3-1 in conference play.

THE SERIES
• The Hurricane holds the series advantage at 22-6 ... the Hurricane is 13-1 at home against Tulane and 7-4 on the road.
• Tulsa has won the last 5 meetings against the Green Wave including both of last season's meetings.
• Tulsa's last meeting against Tulane came on Feb. 28, 2019 as the Hurricane won 72-64 in Tulsa .
• The last meeting at Fogelman Arena between the two teams came on Feb. 14, 2019 as the Hurricane won, 80-57.
• The first game between the two teams came in the 1980-81 season as Tulsa defeated Tulane at home with a final of 102-85 in the Oil Capital Classic in Nolan Richardson's inaugural season as head coach.

LAST MEETING AGAINST TULANE
• The Hurricane took on the Green Wave in a conference home game on Feb. 28, 2019, in the Reynolds Center, as Tulsa won by a score of 72-64 .
Curran Scott and Martins Igbanu led Tulsa with 18 points apiece ... Igbanu went 5-6 from the floor and 9-11 from the free-throw line  ...  Scott made a season-high 4 3-pointers.
• Tulane jumped out to a 19-3 lead in the first 8 minutes before Tulsa stormed back to cut it to a one-point deficit at halftime, 35-34 … Tulsa shot 58-percent from the field in the second half.
• Tulsa scored 28 points in the paint ... the Hurricane also out-rebounded the Green Wave 38-33.
• The Green Wave shot 41.9-percent from the field ... Tulane was led by Caleb Daniels with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists ... Samir Sehic had 14 points and 9 rebounds for the Green Wave.

TULSA GRABS CONFERENCE ROAD WIN AT ECU
• The Hurricane took on the East Carolina Pirates at Williams Arena  in Greenville, N.C. this past Wednesday, Jan. 15.
• Tulsa's Brandon Rachal scored 21 points and added 7 rebounds ... it was the 4th time this season he has scored 20+ points ... he scored 15 of his 21 points in the second half.
Jeriah Horne added 14 points and 6 rebounds, while Martins Igbanu put in 8 points and tied his career-high with 10 rebounds.
• Tulsa led for 32 minutes of the game ... Horne scored 7 of Tulsa's first 11 points as the Hurricane jumped out to a 11-4 lead.
• Tulsa shot 73-percent (16-22) from the free-throw line and 43-percent from the field ... Tulsa held the Pirates to 22-percent shooting in the second half, 29 percent for the game and ECU scored just one field goal in the final 9 minutes of the contest.
• The Tulsa victory extended the Hurricane 5-game winning streak in the series to 6.

SCOUTING THE GREEN WAVE
• Tulane was picked to finish last in The American Athletic Conference ... the Tulane finished last season with a record of 4-27, 0-18  in conference play.
• Tulane is coached by first-year head coach Ron Hunter, who came to Tulane after 8 seasons at Georgie State.
• The Green Wave are 2-3 in conference this season defeating Temple 65-51 and taking down Cincinnati at home, 76-71.
• Tulane is 6-1 at home this year with their only loss coming in their last contest vs. UCF on Jan. 14 with a final of 74-55.
• The Green Wave have The American's 3rd leading scorer in Teshaun Hightower who averages 16.4 points ... K.J. Lawson is 11th in scoring averaging 13.9 points.
• Jordan Walker, Hightower and Lawson have been named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll while Christion Thompson has been selected once.
• Tulane is first in the conference in 3-point field goal makes and percentage ... Tulsa is second in the AAC in defense against the three.

A TULSA WIN WOULD
• Give Tulsa their 23rd victory against Tulane ... extending the 5-game winning streak against the Green Wave to 6.
