Tulsa Places 8th at Jim West Challenge

SAN MARCOS, Texas –– The Tulsa Golden Hurricane golfers carded a final round 290 on Monday and finished in an eighth-place tie at the Jim West Challenge. The Hurricane finished with a 54-hole score of 1-over par 865 to tie Oklahoma and Houston for that eighth-place slot.
 
Tulsa junior Lilly Thomas placed 17h overall with a total score of 4-under par 212 after turning in a final round score of 70. In just her third career tournament, freshman Sydney Seigel had her best collegiate finish with a score of 1-over par 217 for 29th place after scoring a round of 74 today.
 
Sophomore Tita Loudtragulngam finished in 34th place with a 2-over par 218 total score after today's round of 72.
 
Seniors Haley Greb and Lorena Tseng placed in 47th and 54th, respectively. Greb had a round of 74 today to finish with a 4-over par 221 score, while Tseng had a 7-over par 223 after a final round 76.
 
Oklahoma State claimed the team title with a score of 825.
 
Tulsa closed out the fall season at the Jim West Challenge. The Hurricane will start the spring campaign, Feb. 7-8, at the Texas State Invitational.
