Tulsa Women Golfers in 10th Place at Mountain View Collegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. –– The Tulsa women's golf team sits in 10th place after the opening round at the Mountain View Collegiate on Friday. The Golden Hurricane turned in a round of 299 at the par-72 Preserve Golf Course.
Tulsa's Lorena Tseng turned in Tulsa's best round of the day with a 1-under par 71 score for 17th place, while Lilly Thomas' even-par score of 72 ties her for 20th place at the three-day tournament.
Taylor Dobson carded a round of 76 for 49th place, while Haley Greb and Titita Loudtragulngam each tallied a round of 80 for 66th place.
The nation's 31st-ranked Texas Longhorns lead the tournament with a 16-under par score of 272, sitting six strokes ahead of second-place Houston and Iowa State.
Second round action tackes place on Saturday.
